The life of a dancer, to most, is incredibly romantic. Performing at the Met, touring with artists like Lady Gaga, or Madonna, or choreographing for the Grammys, these are some of the dreams that dancers share. This is the romantic world that is a dancer’s life. But what about the lives we don’t hear about? What about the dancers that never made it? What about the girl with a dream in Idaho, with out the means to make it to Los Angeles? Or the dancer who tasted fame, only to have it slip away? These are the stories that fill the documentary, “The Dancer”, a film that explores the entire world of modern day dance.
